The economy of the city is estimated at £25.5 billion and supports over half a million jobs. Most importantly, The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is located in Preston City.
The University of Lancashire was founded in 1828 with the name “Institution for the Diffusion of Knowledge”. It has since transformed into a world-class University offering over 500 undergraduate courses and 200 postgraduate courses. With over 30,000 students from 120 nations around the world and an ever-increasing demand for student accommodation, Preston is an ideal place for our university accommodation project.
